What the campaign was about

Tiffany Icons introduced Natalie Portman as Tiffany & Co.'s House Ambassador in a three-minute campaign film that debuted during the 98th Academy Awards. Directed by Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet and shot on 70mm film, the campaign explores five expressions of love through an intimate letter from Portman to her daughter.

What Lost Loved researched and sourced

For the television campaign, Lost Loved sourced authentic point-of-view footage of New York that reflected the city through Natalie Portman's eyes. For the accompanying social campaign, we worked with a long-term Tiffany collaborator to source imagery that reflected the craftsmanship, heritage and visual language of the brand.

Why it mattered

The sourced New York footage was turned into a 35mm interpositive negative and graded to sit seamlessly alongside the 70mm production. Every element of a 70mm production has to meet the same standard of craft, and the technical process behind the footage let it sit naturally within the finished film - the same level of attention carried through from the television campaign to the imagery selected for social.
